When the Mayors Office contacted me asking me to interview for a possible seat on the Historic Preservation commission, i assumed it was for the one of the seats designated for historic architect and was surprise today learn it was seat 3, the architectural historians position. Since im not a traditional candidate for this seat, using preservation using the academic model, ways somewhat reluctant to accept the invitation to interview. After discussing my concerns and told i was qualified for the seat, considered the contributions i might bring to this commission.
