A Lancaster County town is playing the reluctant host to some pretty rowdy guests.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Marietta, Pa. has been overrun by unruly black vultures. The large carrion birds whose wingspan can extend to approximately five feet reportedly sit on roofs 10 to 20 at a time, destroying the property and leaving a decent amount of acidic fecal matter in their wake.
This isn’t the first time that these unwanted visitors have ruffled feathers within the Keystone State. PennLive reported how the birds once invaded Hershey’s ZooAmerica, inciting sanitary concerns for both the zoo’s animals and humans.
