Police investigate excavator breaker theft The following cases were heard at Teesside and Cleveland magistrates court this week. MISS MANDY KEENAN, 39 of Dene Road in Middlesbrough, was given a community order after being the parent of a child and knowing that she was failing to attend regularly at school. The defendant was proved guilty in absence and was fined £40 and had to pay £90 to victim services. MR MICHAEL LEE HORNSBY, 29 of HMP Durham in Durham was committed to prison for 20 weeks after two cases of trespassing with an intent to steal and damaging a door to the value of £1,000 belonging to New Walk CIC. The defendant pleaded guilty and was made to pay £90 to victim services.
