The suspect was swerving trying to avoid the police. They deployed those stop sticks. They blew the tire of the vehicle. It has zero traction left. That is when the suspect took off on foot. When the suspect took off, they had officers holdback and send out the k9 units that were able to track down the suspect. Before 11 30 friday night. A single story house was on fire. Nobody was home. The house was severely damaged and was red tagged. 3 3 and another call went out less than five minutes later. Firefighters were called to a house that was on fire in the 1400 block of center street. They were told one person was still inside. The house was completely on fire when crews got there. After the fire was partially extinguished firefighters went inside and found a man in the living room. We dont know what condition that man is in right now.
