Alyx, this chase went on for awhile . Alyx it was a long, erratic, dangerous chase. This is where it ended, at southeast fourth and mlk. A k9 unit was able to bring down the suspect. It started with a routine traffic stop. The suspect would not pull over, and police tried several tactics to get the suspect to pull over. The suspect drove right through and that led to him pulling over on scott street when he ditched the vehicle and took off on foot. Unit out to get him. With him. Felony worn out for his arrest, something to do with a felony warrant out for his arrest, something to do with firearms. There was a female in the car with him. Officers did a great job tonight as far as maintaining the safety of the community, as well as the streets. They did a great job blocking intersections and maintaining just the safety of the public. Alyx as for the suspect, we do not have an identity. We know that he suffered some abrasions and very superficial words, according wounds, according to police.
