A man is due in court today (Tuesday) after being charged with the murder of 40-year-old Louis Bednall.
It follows an incident in Hendford Hill, in Yeovil, in the early hours of Saturday, in which Mr Bednall suffered fatal injuries.
Matthew Sheridan, aged 29 of Long Ashton, will appear before Yeovil Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 23-year-old man, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on conditional bail.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker, of the Major Crime Investigation team at Avon and Somerset Police said: Two men remain under arrest following the death of a man in the Hendford Hill area Yeovil. While formal identification has not yet taken place, the victim is believed to be Louis Bednall, aged 40, from the Teignbridge area of Devon. Our thoughts are with his family. A warrant of further detention was obtained yesterday for two men, aged 23 and 29, who have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
