Both Chaitar and Praful were originally part of the Bhilistan Tiger Sena of six-term Jhagadia MLA Chhotu Vasava, which later became the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP).
The MLAs include Amandeep Singh and Narinder Pal Savannah from Punjab, Chetar Vasava and Hemant Khawa from Gujarat, and Naresh Yadav, Mukesh Ahlawat and Shivcharan Goyal from Delhi.
Nearly two months after the Gujarat Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has selected Chaitar Vasava as the party s legislative leader and Hemant Khawa as deputy leader of the party in the state Assembly.
