A tractor trailer truck carrying a tanker of water collided with a car and crashed into an electrical power line in Old Lycoming Township Monday night.
The truck, owned by Heckman Water Resources, was traveling southbound in the inner lane when it attempted to make a right turn off Lycoming Creek Road onto Colvin Road, according to Shyanne McKivison, an officer with the Old Lycoming Township Police Department. McKivison said a 2015 White Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling south in the outside lane collided into the truck at around 9 p.m. She believes it pushed the truck, which then proceeded to crash into the pole for a power line owned by PPL Electric Utilities.
