WATERTOWN â Heather M. Orr, 45, of 15 West Church St., Apt. 1, Adams, was charged by city police Sunday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny and two counts of trespass.
According to police records, at about 5:45 a.m. on Jan. 2, Ms. Orr removed bags from a clothing donation bin at the Church of the Nazarene on Thompson Boulevard.
According to police records, later that day at about 10:58 p.m., Ms. Orr returned to the church, and had a glassine envelope with heroin inside in her car. She also walked through the church parking lot, and remained on the property after being asked to leave.
WATERTOWN â Taylor W. Soderquist, 30, of 1303 State St., Apt. 202, was charged by city police Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, a speeding violation, circumventing an interlock device and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway.
According to police records, at about 7:40 p.m. along the 1000 block of State Street, Mr. Soderquist was arrested and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building. There, he submitted to a breath test, which measured his blood alcohol concentration, or BAC, to be 0.18%, well above the 0.08% legal definition of drunk.
Mr. Soderquist was processed and released with five traffic tickets for his charges.
