New perspective
Film director Heather Tsui, front left, and music professor Huang Fu-tang, right, a close friend of Chinese music master Bao Yuankai, hold a poster of Tsui’s documentary “Sounds of Taiwan” at its premiere at Vieshow Cinemas Taipei Xinyi yesterday. Tsui’s documentary on Bao’s teaching and experience in Taiwan took eight years to make and shows aspects of Taiwan’s beauty that even locals might have overlooked. Screening of the documentary is to start from March 5, and was made possible by fundraising.
