James Charles Niemeyer Sr. “Jim” age 88 of Farmington, MN passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023. Jim was born on August 31, 1935 in Hines, MN to Arthur and Lillian (Krueger) Niemeyer. He graduated from Black Duck High School in 1953. He served his country in the National Guard for 6 years. Jim became a technician and started a business with his brother selling and fixing TV’s, appliances, etc. on Lake Street in Minneapolis, in 1965 Jim moved to Maple Grove. Mn and started a family RV business, “Niemeyer Trailer Sales”, in Maple Grove (Albertville, MN) and Elko, MN where he worked for 40 years before his retirement. Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman, and “lumberjack”, he loved to have a chainsaw in his hands cutting wood at his properties in Ten Strike, MN. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother Aurthur and three sisters, Pauline, Virgina and Yvonne.
