Last Saturday, the citizens of Heath came together in Heath Center to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Heath Community Hall. It was originally built as a Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1923, the Heath Historical Society purchased the building.

Selectboard, Finance Committee races top Heath election ballot LIVELY Published: 5/5/2021 4:36:50 PM HEATH Contested races for Selectboard and Finance Committee top the town election ballot on Friday. Polls will be open from noon to 6 p.m. at 18 Jacobs Road, the former elementary school. Karen Brooks and Susan Lively, both of whom have previously served in Heath town government, are running for Selectboard. The previous board member, Gloria Fisher, is not running for re-election. Fisher was elected for a three-year term in 2018. She had previously worked as the Heath town coordinator. Fisher could not be reached for comment by press time. In the Finance Committee race, six candidates are running for three available seats. Among the six, the only one who is currently a member of the committee is Ned Wolf, who serves as chair. The five others are newcomers.
