Im lucky to be one of the 13 members of the annual Meeting Program committee. We are pleased to have a panel with us today. The committee itself is from around the country, practicing areas from construction, commercial, business, criminal law and our charge is to put together a small selection of the best cuttingedge programs every year. In the fall of 2018 we started with 50 submissions, looked for those that would be the most special, the most exceptional and we were lucky to have a proposal from the science and Technology Section and our moderator, heather rafter, entitled shaping our future, tech Company Lawyers on innovation and social responsibility. The program isnt is an all women panel. It happened to work out that way. We have so many amazingly talented women in our Tech Community that it naturally fell together and we are lucky to have this group today. Just heard what sounded like gunfire, and then people on stage started scrambling. Everybody just kind of ran from that point. Where did you go . I actually stayed in the convert venue, hid behind a table until everybody cleared. Swat came in, and i left, and than i went out and started there were a couple bodies there. First responders are saying, because that concert venue was so crowded, the number of casualties may go even higher. Now, people who were at the concert say at first, they couldnt believe what they were seeing and hearing.
