I know it made more financial sense. We have got to help other companies discover what they can do as well. I am not asking corporations to be charitable, although that is important. I am asking corporations to realize that when americans prosper, they prosper as well. The idea of corporate patriotism might sound the smart thing to do as well. That leaves to the second part of the new bargain, companies will have to start treating workers like assets to be invested in, not cost to be cut.
