JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) - On Thursday, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported a total of 161 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths as of 3 p.m. the day before.
For the six southernmost counties, there were a total of 25 new cases and no new deaths reported Thursday.
The new cases were in Harrison County (9), Jackson County (7), George County (5), Stone County (3), and Hancock County (1). No new cases were reported in Pearl River County.

There were 53 new cases and 2 new deaths reported in South Mississippi on Wednesday.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) - On Wednesday, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported a total of 334 new COVID-19 cases and five new deaths as of 3 p.m. the day before.
For the six southernmost counties, there were a total of 53 new cases and two new deaths reported Wednesday.
The new cases were in Harrison County (28), Jackson County (12), George County (6), Pearl River County (5), and Stone County (2). No new cases were reported in Hancock County.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) - The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting a total of 638 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths over the last three days from Friday at 3 p.m. through Sunday afternoon.
MSDH reported 140 new cases and one new death for the six southernmost counties over the period from April 23-25.
The new cases were in Jackson County (70), Harrison County (28), George County (19), Pearl River County (14), Hancock County (7), and Stone County (2).

JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) - In Mississippi, there were 212 new cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths reported Friday in the entire state.
As of April 23, MSDH reported 42 new cases and one new death for the six southernmost counties.
The new cases were in Harrison County (21), Jackson County (8), Pearl River County (6), George County (3), Hancock County (2), and Stone County (2).
Of the two deaths reported in the state, one was in Jackson County and occurred on April 20.
