Clemson Lacrosse Announces 2024 Spring Schedule

CLEMSON, S.C. - As they prepare to head into their second season, Head Coach Allison Kwolek and the Clemson lacrosse program announced Wednesday its 2024 Spring Schedule. In addition to Coach Kwolek, Clemson is led by Associate Head Coach Bill Olin and Assistant Coaches Madison Carter and Marina Miller. At the end of fall ball, the team voted in Ella Little, Bella D’Gracia, Shannon Brazier and Kerri Thornton as this year’s captains. For the first time in program history, Clemson will be playing in their brand new stadium on the banks of lake hartwell. Their new stadium features 2,000 seats, a 9,000 square foot operations building, and is a part of Clemson’s $27.5 million women sports expansion project. Clemson, S.C. – On Tuesday, April 25, the ACC announced that Clemson’s Sofia Chepenik and Paris Masaracchia were among the 12 freshmen voted on ACC’s All-Freshman team. The only two freshmen in Clemson’s starting lineup, Chepenik and Masaracchia have been key to Clemson’s success this season.  “It’s great to see Paris and Sofia recognized on the all-freshman team after being such strong contributors all season,” said Head Coach Allison Kwolek. “This is a testament to their incredible work ethic and energy that they bring on a daily basis. Clemson Upsets No 13 Duke 11-10

Box Score Clemson, S.C. The Clemson Tigers lacrosse team (7-2, 1-2 ACC ) upsets the No. 13 Duke Blue Devils (4-3, 0-3 ACC) 11-10 on Saturday, March 11 at Historic Riggs Field. This marks Clemson’s first win over both an ACC and top 25 ranked opponent.  Leading Clemson in goals, freshman Sofia Chepenik notched a career high of four goals. Clemson’s defense stood their ground and forced 11 turnovers, including one in the final minute of the game to seal the Tiger’s victory. Goalie Emily Lamparter played all 60 minutes in the cage and registered 11 saves.  All four quarters of Saturday’s matchup were a back and forth battle. Emma Tilson got the Tiger’s on the board first at 10:41 in the first quarter. Soon after, Duke responded with a goal of their own. By the end of the first quarter, Clemson and Duke were tied 3-3.  The Blue Devils would have their biggest scoring run in the second quarter with four goals. As a result, Clemson was down 7-5 at the end of the first half. 

Clemson Defeats Furman 19-3

CLEMSON S.C. - The Tigers improved to 2-0 with a decisive 19-3 win over the Paladins (0-1) Wednesday, Feb. 15. Over the past two games, Clemson has scored a total of 42 points and has only allowed four goals.  The Tiger’s got off to a quick start, scoring 11 of their 19 goals in the first quarter. Clemson spread the ball on offense, as 11 different players scored , including Sofia Chepenik, Ella Little, Gianna New, Emma Tilson, Jalyn Jimerson, Hanna Hilcoff, Belle Martire, Chloe Willard, Marina Miller, Sara Palmisano, and Emma Johnson.  Little, Palmasino, and Johnson all registered their first goals in a Clemson uniform.  Hilcoff once again led the Tigers in scoring with four goals which pushed her total goals for the season up to nine.  Clemson held Furman scoreless in the first half, giving Emily Lamparter a shutout in the cage.
