there s something happening here in georgia. without a doubt. that last voter is kermit herby. he had a lot to say. he is not sure if he would vote for him again. but he told him to stay out of georgia. he is not interested in his view. we found that everywhere we went. what is happening on the ground is pretty interesting. what brian kemp is doing is talking about his record, everything that he has done for georgia, he is talking about a new plant that was just going to be announced this week. he is talking about the gas tax holiday. he is not talking about trump. we asked him about it. he is like, i m not interested in what someone from out of state is saying. he doesn t even say his name. the challenge here though is after this primary is over, is the republican party going to unify behind him? my sense is that it probably is. the david perdue campaign has been a complete embarrassment.s
election was stolen, how much is that in their minds and how much do they identify that with the candidates themselves? this say big race. there is another big race in georgia on tuesday, in the primaries, and that s for secretary of state. doesn t have as much profile as the governor s race, but that is another one where the incumbent brad raffensperger was a top target of donald trump and governor kemp and brad raffensperger, they re not like liberal republicans, these are conservative republicans. their sin was not overturning a legitimate election. and so these are raffensperger does not appear to have the same, like, 20-pointish lead in the polls that governor kemp does, but the fact he might be able to survive at all is a testament to how much at least in georgia republican voters focus on this has dissipated over the course of the past year and a half gl. the big test last week was gone without a winner thus far
