Two Republicans are seeking their party’s nomination to run for the borough’s governing body in the Nov. 2 general election. The GOP primary on June 8 will be uncontested According to the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office, the four Democrats who are seeking two nominations in the June 8 primary election are incumbent council members Kate Triggiano and Hazim Yassin, and challengers Bruce Maida and Jacqueline Sturdivant.
