RED BANK, NJ: Based on unofficial results, voters turned out to elect for a second 2-year term Kate Triggiano and new comer Jacqueline Sturdivant, defeating incumbent councilman Hazim Yassin by 9 votes, a margin of 0.44%
Borough councilman and local Democratic Chairman Ed Zipprich declined to support the Triggiano/Hazim team and threw his endorsement behind Bruce Maida and Sturdivant.
Triggiano and Yassin were endorsed by Red Bank Mayor Pat Menna, Senator Vin Gopal and Governor Phil Murphy.
