IMAA reaches 80 members just 18 months after launch July 5, 2021 9:54 The Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA), the industry association for independent media agencies, has reached a total of 80 members since its launch in February 2020. IMAA general manager, Sam Buchanan, said: “In less than 18 months, we’ve grown from just five agencies in the early planning stages to 80 members, and have become a truly national body, with member agencies in every state, and we’d like to welcome our newest members.” All of the newly members of the IMAA agreed that the association was critical “in connecting independent agencies and promoting the importance of indies in the media landscape”.
