Act 62 establishes the offense of unlawful shipment of tobacco products. This includes electronic smoking devices and e-liquids under the definition of “tobacco products” for purposes of the cigarette tax and tobacco tax law.
The bipartisan legislation would improve veterans’ access to information about higher education and allow the Department of Veterans Affairs to restore benefits that veterans use at schools subject to civil enforcement.
The measure is a key component to the Ready Keiki initiative led by Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke to expand access to preschool for all Hawaiʻi three- and four-year-olds by 2032.
