Fantasy Island Could Open Its Doors Again By The 4th of July
In case you missed it a few days ago, there was very hopeful news for Fantasy Island and the potential of it reopening again. The park officially shuttered in February of 2020, on almost no notice, and the park on Grand Island, NY has remained closed since.
Chicago investor Gene Staples is negotiating with Store Capital Real Estate Investment Trust Co. of Scottsdale, Arizona for a long-term lease to take over the now-defunct amusement park, and reopen it. But you may be surprised just how quickly things are progressing in getting the park open again.
This is the first year I haven t had to think about what to buy my mom for Mother s Day.
She passed away from lung cancer just under two months ago at the age of 68, which by today s standards feels so young.
I figured we had many Mother s Days in our future to celebrate together.

The Worst Jeopardy Host Of All Time Once Made Fun Of Buffalo
Welp, it is official.
If you are a fan of Jeopardy!, you know that the show has been having guest hosts change every week or two weeks ever since they started taping again after the death of long time and beloved host, Alex Trebek.
The ratings are officially in for when Anderson Cooper guest hosted Jeopardy last week and YIKES..not good. The ratings are
7% less than the previous lowest guest host ratings, that is back when Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers hosted the show.
Safe to say, he will not be the full time replacement when the time comes. Successful guest hosts, in terms of ratings were Katie Couric, producer of the show Mike Richards and Ken Jennings.
