Personal Data Leaked From Over 500 Million Facebook Users
There was a security breach at Facebook where personal information was disclosed from over 533 million Facebook users all over the globe. Ironically, experts are calling it a low level hack even though, they have over 500 millions user information.
What do the hackers have? Data includes, phone numbers, full names, location, email address and biographical info. According to Business Insider:
Insider reviewed a sample of the leaked data and verified several records by matching known Facebook users phone numbers with the IDs listed in the data set. We also verified records by testing email addresses from the data set in Facebook s password-reset feature, which can be used to partially reveal a user s phone number.
The Tim Hortons at ECMC is safe, for now.
A recent court ruling has ensured double-double s will flow in the city hospital s lobby through 2023.
ECMC has been trying to end its lease with Benderson Development early, citing the desire for healthy food options not Timbits in the hospital s lobby.
Last year, ECMC sent a notice to Benderson telling it to “quit and surrender the leased space by Dec. 16, prompting Benderson to seek a court injunction.
State Supreme Court Justice Timothy J. Walker granted Benderson s request Friday, saying there is no mechanism by which (ECMC) may be permitted to reform the lease.
Go Bike Riding Starting This Weekend Even If You Don’t Have A Bike
The bikes are back this season! Those red Reddy Bikes that you see all over the City of Buffalo and Niagara Falls are back for their 6th season and let me tell you, they are so nice and convenient to have so you don t have to haul bikes down to go sight-seeing downtown.
There are over 400 bikes with 90 locations in Buffalo and Niagara Falls and the best part is you can just check them out for the day on the app, and then if you want to you can drop them off at any other Reddy Bike location, so you do not even have to ride them all the way back.
Alcohol To-Go Sales Set To End Today, Unless Cuomo Steps In
The to-go alcohol sales in Western New York are set to be banned after today. UNLESS Governor Cuomo signs a last minute extension, the executive order that he signed in the beginning of the pandemic is set to expire.
When restaurants and bars were shut down after the pandemic started, they reopened by doing take out only, but everyone who knows something about the food service industry knows that drinks are where a lot of profit come from. Therefore, Cuomo signed the bill to allow bars to sell booze to go. Now, do not get this confused with the Open Container Law, which allows people to drink alcohol freely down the street (looking at you, East Aurora!). The bill strictly had to be alcohol that was consumed at home and brought with seal-type containers. (P.S. the to-go margaritas from Mexican restaurants were unbelievable.)
