The 35th Surajkund International Crafts Mela this year starts from 19 March in Surajkund village near Faridabad of Haryana. The theme state for Surajkund Mela 2022 is ‘Jammu & Kashmir.’
The fair is organised by the Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism, in collaboration with Union ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Culture and External Affairs.
The Surajkund International Crafts Mela was earlier scheduled to take place from 4th to 20th February but due to rising covid cases, the Haryana government decided to reschedule the event. According to a Haryana government notification, the 35th Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2022 has been re-scheduled from 20th March to 4th April 2022.
