Fire crews were dispatched to a Franklin Avenue address for a reported house fire around 6:30 p.m. Arriving units found a vacant building with flames showing near the roof. Officials said firefighters had the blaze knocked down shortly after 7 p.m.

Officials said crews responded to a report of smoke inside a multi-family home in the 200 block of Jefferson Street around 8:30 p.m. A working fire was declared within minutes. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames in less than 30 minutes, officials said. All occupants made it out safely. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries reported. The Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate.

Units were dispatched to Brown Street between Wethersfield and Franklin avenues around 4 a.m. for a reported structure fire. Officials said “heavy snow impacted” fire fighting operations. Still, officials said, crews were able to get all occupants out of the house safely. Initial dispatch reports indicated there was fire inside the walls of the home. Units quickly extinguished the flames once all occupants were out of the home.
