Dexus has won council approval for its $2.1 billion transformation of Eagle Street Pier but neighbours are threatening legal action.
Under the proposed Waterfront Brisbane redevelopment, the 30-year-old Eagle Street Pier buildings will be demolished and replaced with two 49- and 43-floor office towers on prime riverside land.

Waterfront Brisbane will also expand the riverwalk at the tower bases to a six-metre wide promenade, and create new dining and retail precincts.
