BERRYVILLE — Matthew Bass announced Monday he is resigning from his Berryville District seat on the Clarke County Board of Supervisors and running for Clarke County commonwealth s attorney.
BERRYVILLE — An apparent campsite along the Shenandoah River is in violation of zoning rules, the Clarke County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) determined Wednesday.
A couple of weeks ago I wrote of the need for a historic marker at the site of the first bridge over the Tombigbee at Columbus. It was a bridge by Black bridge builder Horace King in 1842.
