welcome to news4 at 4. i m jim handley. i m pat lawson muse. this afternoon, picking up the pieces in haiti. though there have been more progress with moving aid into the country, the signs of desperation are still very overwhelming. with frequent aftershocks, it is still a struggle to survive for many. ten days afterhe initial quake. we begin our coverage this evening with michelle kosinski in port-au-prince. all of these aftershocks that we ve been feeling, more than 50 of them now, just make everyone feel powerless again. as much as there is help here, life is tenuous and that daily struggle for many people to find food and water goes on. there are many aid distribution points now, and for the most part they re very organized, special those run by the u.s. military. it seems like they have it down to a science now with lines set up for men and for women. it just works well at those points where there s a lot of security. it s a lot calmer and more organized t
