Leh,(Ladakh),March 15 (Scoop News)-Secretary, Youth Services and Sports, Ladakh Ravinder Kumar interacted with 17-year-old footballer Tsewang Sangdup and congratulated him for achieving the milestone of becoming the first Ladakhi footballer to be invited by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for selection trials of Under-19 National Team at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Sangdup plays as a Midfielder and hails from Changthang. Recently Sangdup also played for Santosh Trophy.
Secretary Kumar stated that it’s a matter of pride and honour for Ladakh. He added that this achievement will inspire the youth of Ladakh to make a mark in the game of football, which before the formation of the Union Territory of Ladakh, predominantly included players of Jammu and Kashmir only. Secretary, Ravinder Kumar wished Tsewang Sangdup all the best for the future.
