Judge Joan Ziglar certified a charge of first-degree murder against a Martinsville man in Martinsville General District Court on Monday. At a preliminary hearing, Ziglar found probable cause that Delano Tomaz Ross, 46, shot and killed Antoine Jermaine Preston, 47, on Sept. 30, after the two had argued.
Delano Tomaz Ross, 46, of Martinsville, also known as "Punkin," has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felon, shoot from a vehicle to endanger persons, shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a violent felon, and reckless handling of a firearm in the death of Antoine Jermaine Preston, 47, a release stated.
