Today, despite the unprecedented circumstances, we come together as the United States congress bestows its highest honor, the congressional gold medal on the crewmen of the uss indianapolis. Thank you to the entire indiana delegation, indiana governor, and secretary of the navy for your efforts to make this momentous event possible.
