HARKER HEIGHTS, TX â Three people have been arrested in connection to the death of a 19-year-old.
On Tuesday, April 20, 19-year-old Quinton Ford was shot and killed in the parking lot of Harker Heights High School.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation revealed that a verbal argument occurred between several people in the parking lot. The argument escalated and multiple shots were fired.
The Harker Heighs Police Department announced Thursday, April 22 that three people have been arrested in connection to Ford s death. One of the three is awaiting arraignment.

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas Three people were arrested following the shooting death of 19-year-old Quinton Ford, the Harker Heights Police Department announced Thursday.
Endy Neri Soto, 19, was charged with deadly conduct discharge firearm. His bond was set to $500,000, police said.
Taja West, 21, was charged with aggravated robbery. She also has a bond of $500,000, police said.
The third suspect was not named and is awaiting arraignment, police said.
On April 20, Ford was reportedly shot in the Harker Heights High School parking lot, 1000 block of East Knights Way, around 11 p.m., according to a news release.

KILLEEN, Texas An 18-year-old crashed into the Welcome to Killeen sign and died on Friday morning.
The victim was identified as Julianna Allen, a Harker Heights High school student. Some community members said this isn t the first time the sign has been crashed into and want changes. I think either fixing the roads or putting up some barriers, very strong barriers, and relocating the sign would do the town some justice, Killeen resident Alexis McDade-Welch said.
