Amid growing concern over hate speeches by politicians and religious leaders, the Supreme Court on Monday said such speeches needed to be stopped as they vitiated the country’s atmosphere.
The speech in question pertains to December 2021 when Sudarshan News TV editor Suresh Chavhanke administered an oath to a group of people to 'die for and kill' to make India a 'Hindu rashtra'.
