Independent MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana were booked for allegedly violating various norms and impeding traffic during a welcome event for the couple in Amravati.
Banners of Ranas reciting Hanuman Chalisa at the Ramnagar Hanuman temple were put up right in front of the NCP office in Nagpur. The NCP activists, led by state vice-president Prashant Pawar, set up a stage near the temple for chanting of `Sundarkand` to counter Ranas, reported IANS.
Navneet Rana had written to the Parliament`s Privileges and Ethics Committee on charges of breach of privilege and had alleged illegal arrest and inhuman treatment faced her at Khar police station, ANI reported.
