Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Chairwoman and General Director of the Advanced International Joint Stock Company (AIC), and 35 others will be brought to trial on December 21 for their accused involvement in wrongdoings at the Dong Nai General Hospital, the AIC, and some others.
The Hanoi People’s Court has sentenced Le Van Dung, a resident in the city’s Ha Dong district, to five years in prison for “conducting propaganda against the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.
The Hanoi People’s Court is set to open a trial on November 4 for a 43-year-old woman charged with “conducting propaganda against the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.

Hanoi People’s Court, on April
29, sentenced ex-minister of industry and trade Vu Huy Hoang to 11 years’
imprisonment
for “violating regulations on the management and use of State assets, causing
losses and wastefulness”.
Also on the same charge, Phan Chi Dung, born in 1957
and the former Director of the Light Industry Department at the Ministry of
Industry and Trade (MoIT), got nine years in jail under Article 219 of the 2015
Penal Code’s Clause 3.
In line with Article 229 of the 2015 Penal Code’s Clause,
