the high school that is accused of opening fire, killing those four people, sending another eight to the hospital, we do know he is still in custody at this point. you mentioned those charges announced by the prosecutor in the past hour. that terrorism charge. she says that reflects the magnitude and scale of the crime. the students that were ducking in classrooms, that were running, afraid to open the door for members of law enforcement that were trying to rescue them. the four counts of first degree murder, reflecting the four people who were killed in this shooting. the seven counts of assault with intent to murder. the seven other people who were hospitalized and who are some, we know, six are still in the hospital right now. then the 12 counts of possession of a firearm and the commission of a felony, all of those counts just announced in the past couple of minutes. now, one other note we heard from the prosecutor is that she is also considering charges against his parent. we kn
their private security is employed by the school district, in addition to us having a school resource officer that covers oxford schools. i know some of them were there yesterday. i m not sure all the specific ones. so we really don t want to get into identifying personnel at this point, but there were private security, people employed by the school, and i know at least one or two were there yesterday. sheriff, the prosecutor said i m sorry she said it s been considered or looked into, but from where you sit with the evidence you ve found, do you see criminal negligence on behalf of the parents? i think that would have to be a tbd, to be determined, as the investigation unfolds. we present it to the prosecutor, and she ll make the decision. sheriff, how did the gun get inside the building? you know, speculative, obviously, but my guess is he carried it in, either in his backpack or his waist. sheriff, can you and i apologize for the repetitive question. can you explai
