Sunnyvale. The officer in this officerinvolved shooting did fear for his life when he had a gi gunpointed at him and thats why he had to fire several rounds. Police are wrapping up the suspect, and theyre looking for one suspect with that confrontation with police. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at a motel 6 at a wannee avenue in sunnyvale when the car matched the description, two men ran. They say one of them dropped a highcapacity magazine during the chase and one of the suspects got away and officers cornered the other behind a commercial complex and thats when the officers shot and killed him. Investigators say there was a gun next to that suspect, after he fell to the ground and another gun in his backpack. The officer fired nine rounds at the suspect. The officer and the suspect were facing each other at the time of the shooting and in very close proximity to one another.
