The funding will go towards 13 new projects, while 10 existing projects will receive a boost too ahead of the Federal Budget coming out next week. Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the spend would improve public transport, make roads safer and support more than 4000 jobs. Mark McGowan has demanded the Commonwealth to step in and help with quarantining returning Australians.
