New, faster boat, connects Hamiltonians to CBD

But after a few months of tidying up loose ends, the company is ready to show off its new, and much faster boat, dubbed ‘Kiwi Cat II’ through a six-month trial, funded by the Waikato Regional Council. The scenic route will connect passengers from Pūkete to Hamilton’s CBD in 25 minutes upstream and offer three return trips each weekday for up to 40 people per ride. Managing director Darren Mills was thrilled with the developments and can t wait for Kiwi Cat II to be ready for service.
