The high court's order came while deciding the trademark infringement suit filed by Hamdard National Foundation (India) and Hamdard Dawakhana, which is also trading as Hamdard Laboratories India, against Amazon Seller Services Pvt Ltd and Golden Leaf
The Delhi High Court on Friday granted relief to Hamdard National Foundation (India), the manufacturer of Rooh Afza and restrained Amazon from listing any product which infringes Hamdard's trademark ‘ROOHAFZA' .
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has ‘permanently restrained’ various retailers on e-commerce platform Amazon from selling sherbets made in Pakistan under the India’s Hamdard-owned ‘Rooh Afza’ trademark. The Hamdard National Foundation and Hamdard Laboratories India (Hamdard Dawakhana) had moved an application before the high court, requesting it restrain Amazon India from selling Pakistan-manufactured Rooh Afza on its platform.Coun
