The Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack is investigating a hit-and-run accident that just occurred at MD Route 231 (Hallowing Point Road) at Prince Frederick Boulevard.
UPDATE February 2024: SHA consultant and contractor crews will be onsite collecting borings and test hole information during the next couple of months. Crews may be working on site in different areas along MD 231. The owner will be notified if a staff member needs to enter or work on private property.

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will perform routine maintenance on the MD 231 (Hallowing Point Road) Bridge (Benedict Bridge) over the Patuxent River at the Calvert County/Charles County line starting at 6 a.m. Sunday November 5, weather permitting. Lanes will open to traffic no later than 2 p.m. that afternoon.
On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at approximately 12:42 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Hallowing Point Road and Calvert Fair Drive in Prince Frederick, for the motor vehicle collision reported serious with one vehicle overturned.
