Neighborhood the Golden Bear Community last evening. The fire burning away from those homes thanks to calmer winds yesterday. Its in a remote area. The terrain is so rugged fire crews are not going to bring in heavy equipment and they have to build containment lines by hand. We dont have to worry about homes threatened but its going to be ugly terrain trying to get in there. Reporter mandatory evacuations are still in effect for the quail ridge and the canyon creek area. The red cross has an Evacuation Center set up at the Winters Community center. We stayed until, um, the flames were out the back window. They were 30 feet tall at that point.
