Police say they got a call who said a man robbed them at gunpoint just after they close. It appeared he had concealed himself inside at the time of closing. He presented a firearm and demanded money from the two employees in the back office counting the money. Which they turned over to him. Reporter the robber ran out the back door. It is very disturbing. Our employees were startled. Reporter the president said the robbery is a setback for a business that tries to build goodwill and help the community. Respects. Good evening everyone. Two nights a vigil was intended to be a tribute to the late mayor. In the community instead at city hall. Amber was among those who gathered outside in chinatown on this chilly december night. Reporter the candlelight vigil was held here. About 500 people attended. Members of the Chinese Community tell me there will they will remember him as mayor but as someone who fought for those who did not have a voice. A place he frequented as mayor and before that as a young attorney for the asian law caucus. He was a remarkable person. And a quiet giant. The freeways over Southern Nevada. He saw how closely a man was to death. Approaching a man on summerlin hov lane on i95. I felt he was about to go any time. He was halfway over the wall so any kind of Movement Towards him could have instite actually go over. Hows it going man . Approaching the man with his trainee. He would look at us, he would look down. Without knowing it it just felt like he was going to absolutely jump at that moment which facilitated my actions. Reporter then, a split second decision.
