The Daily Campus Life section produces roundtables that cover a variety of silly yet strangely controversial topics. Today’s roundtable questions the origins of Leap Day, which will make its comeback after its traditional four-year hiatus in two weeks’ time.
Ruler of lovely heartbreak rhythms and scream-along songs, alternative indie-pop singer-songwriter, Lizzy McAlpine, has delivered a surprise that fans have been anticipating. She also announced the release of her junior album for Apr. 5 named after her song, “Older,” which she dropped on Feb. 13.
The University of Connecticut hosted its annual Spring Involvement Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 1 to 6 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion. Along with the hundreds of student organizations in attendance, The Daily Campus stood and tabled as well, soliciting involvement from the undergraduate population.
