The University of Connecticut hosted its annual Spring Involvement Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 1 to 6 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion. Along with the hundreds of student organizations in attendance, The Daily Campus stood and tabled as well, soliciting involvement from the undergraduate population.

There are certain things that just happen in the offices of a daily college newspaper. Pizza stains on newsprint. Fights over Oxford commas. All-nighters.
And, inevitably, typos.
An editor of UConn’s student newspaper learned the hard way last week just how easy it is to change the whole meaning of a story with a slip of the mouse. She inadvertently implied on the front page that some UConn students were happy to get COVID.
