following hours. that line came right through washington, right into southern maryland, across the bay. after it crossed the bay, it did break up a lot. now this morning, just a few lingering showers. you see speckles of green, some lingering light showers in northern virginia, much of maryland. but some heavier showers now south and east of richmond. these are the first effects of tropical depression beryl. that s going to be moving off of hatteras later today. but some areas in the lower part of the eastern shore and at the beaches may get some onshore flow with the winds there, as well as some rain from beryl. here off it our west now out in the mountains, the cloud cover beginning to break up. we ll get a gradual clearing as we get into the afternoon. right now, it s mild, near 70 in washington. all these areas in green, in the 60s. that includes much of the region. here s your day planner for this wednesday. and maybe a few lingering showers mid morning and showers south
