Here is an article that makes sound speculation from actual agents that believe the cap will NOT be as low as $175,000,000 which is what overthecap is using now.
One agent said the expectation is the cap for 2020 will at least remain steady. Another agent said he expected it to touch $200 million. Another was planning for $195 million.
I have always believed this was going to be the case as it makes too much sense. For this exercise, I am going to go with a cap of $195,000,000.

Well, that wasn t fun, and I doubt I will surprise any of you when I note that only two players on the entire defense saw their Pro Football Focus (PFF) season grade increase after yesterday s slaughter, but I bet you can only name one of them! The offense was a mixed bag when it came to season grade movement, but we saw some predictable shifts there, for good and ill. On the other hand, I was actually able to watch the game yesterday, Merry frackin Christmas. Ah well. So, for the second to last game of the 2020 season, you can find below the overall PFF

I started this piece in a truly foul mood, but much to my surprise, writing it has actually picked my mood up, which I would guess no one else on these boards can say after considering this game! And I can t even blame my blues on having seen the game (nope, it didn t air here, I got Vilma, the Seahawks and the Washington FT, instead), but there it is. Anyhoo, below are the overall Pro Football Focus
SEASON grades as of Game 14 (Week 15) of the 2020 season at home against the Bears, whose league s worst offense! just scored 30 or more points for the third week in a row, and whose David Montgomery just ran for over 100 yards for the third time in four weeks, so clearly something is starting to click there. A reminder, yet again, that I can t see behind the PFF paywall, so these are the overall season grades, no

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings: Inactive lists for both teams
Who will be sitting this one out?
Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports
We are just about ninety minutes from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings have both released their inactive lists for this contest. Let’s take a look at who will be watching this one from the sidelines, starting with the visiting team.
Chicago Bears
CB Buster Skrine
No real surprises on the injury report for Chicago. Khalil Mack, who had been listed as questionable, is active, which should hardly come as a surprise.
