31.05.21 RBAF Diamond Jubilee Celebration
The culmination event of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF Diamond Jubilee Celebration, was highlighted with a Giant Parade of more than one thousand personnel from the combined RBAF Units. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, graced the ceremony.
Upon arrival at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Second Minister of Defence and Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the RBAF. Also in attendance was His Majesty s son, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister s Office.

Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ Village Consultative Council Advisor cum guest of honour Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jaafar bin Haji Abdul Aziz handed over the donations, before the breaking of fast with the orphans.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, April 26 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): A dawn service to commemorate Anzac Day was held at the Brunei-Australia Memorial at Muara Beach yesterday, honouring Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Around 90 military personnel and civilians gathered at 6am to participate in the annual tradition, including Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi Haji Mohd Yussof, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Ministry of Defence (MinDef) officials.
