31.03.21 His Majesty Visit to Ministry Of Defence
During the visit to the Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison yesterday morning, His Majesty the Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced a get-together with Senior Officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. Also in attendance were His Majesty s sons His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister s Office and His Royal Highness Prince 920 Captain Udara Prince Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Second Minister of Defence and Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the RBAF. His Majesty then received the royal salute and inspected a guard of honour mounted by the 3rd Batallion of the Royal Brunei Land Force.

Brunei Darussalam will deploy four officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, as members of the third Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team, IDB V-MAT, in Mindanao, Republic of Philippines. A flag handing-over ceremony was held at Bolkiah Garrison Gymnasium yesterday morning.
The Brunei Darussalam flag was handed over by the Guest of Honour, Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the RBAF, to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Shalleh bin Haji Ismail, head of the delegation. Also present were His Excellency Christopher B. Montero, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines, Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma awiah, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.
