Culture Company, has won five awards at recent international film festivals.
At the US IndieFEST
Film Awards, the movie was honoured with the Award of Merit and the Award
of Excellence.
The film also won the Best Narrative
Feature Film and Best International Collaboration awards at
the 2021
Paris International Film Festival, which honours independent studios. Meanwhile,
actress Hoang Thi Bich Phuong has won the best actress award for her role in
the film.
The movie tells the tale of a beautiful and strong-willed Vietnamese nurse

The Public Transport Management Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport on Friday decided to suspend a bus attendant for refusing to serve a passenger with disabilities.
After verifying a video circulated on Facebook, the center affirmed that P.T.N.H., the bus attendant on the bus numbered 51B-31XXX on the route between District 8’s Bus Station and Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh in Thu Duc City, had refused to pick up a passenger on a wheelchair waiting at the bus stop at Thu Duc Market on Kha Van Can Street at around 8:00 am on Thursday.

Hanoi (VNA) - The
army’s efforts in fighting COVID-19 and implementing the national
vaccination programme were highlighted at a press conference in Hanoi on April
9.
According to Major
General Nguyen Xuan Kien, head of the Military Medical Department at the General Department of Logistics, the
Ministry of National Defence has actively directed
quarantine work, especially in the northern province of
Hai Duong, which was at
one time the country’s biggest COVID-19 hotspot.

Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia congratulate new Foreign Minister
Foreign ministers of Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia have extended congratulations to Bui Thanh Son on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In a phone talk with his Vietnamese counterpart on April 9, Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith said he believes that Son will lead his ministry in efforts to reap more successes in foreign affairs.
Saleumxay Kommasith is the first foreign minister to make a congratulatory phone call to the Vietnamese newly-appointed minister.
Addressing the event, Bertrand Lortholary, Asia-Oceania Director of the French Ministry
for Europe and Foreign Affairs, congratulated Ambassador Thiep and said that by
presenting the noble award, France has recognised and honoured the ambassador’s
efforts during his working term in the country.
Ambassador Thiep recalled wishes of the two countries’ leaders to
strengthen and expand bilateral relations in various areas.
He highlighted the development of the Vietnam-France strategic partnership over
the past three years, marked by a number of visits by senior leaders of the two
countries, especially visits to France by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in
March 2018 and then National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan in March
